1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using EventEdge ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
EventEdge provides automated edge detection and optional trade execution on sports prediction markets (currently Kalshi). The Service uses model-based win probability indicators to compare against Kalshi market prices and identify potential mispricings.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to participate in prediction markets in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
4. Account and API Keys
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and any third-party API keys you provide. API keys are encrypted at rest but you provide them at your own risk. You are solely responsible for all activity under your account.
5. Fees and Credits
EventEdge charges a 1% fee on trade volume, deducted from prepaid credits. The minimum fee per trade is $0.05. Credits are non-refundable. All fees are final once a trade is executed.
6. No Financial Advice
The Service does not provide financial, investment, or trading advice. Signals, edges, and probabilities are informational only. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions and any resulting profits or losses. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
7. Risk Disclosure
Trading on prediction markets involves substantial risk of loss. You may lose some or all of your invested capital. Automated trading carries additional risks including but not limited to technical failures, connectivity issues, and market volatility. You acknowledge and accept these risks.
8. Limitation of Liability
EventEdge is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to trading losses, missed opportunities, or technical failures.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, any remaining credits are forfeited.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
